Razvan Stoica is recognized across the world as the best violinist under 30 years of age, after winning the Euro Broadcast Competition, Slovakia, Bratislava, in October, 2013, is recognized as a violinist and artist of an amazing technique, known at the highest level for his virtuosity, passion, integrity and lucidity of his playing.

It is not only the fact that Razvan Stoica has been born in a family of famous musicians of an undeniable quality and prestige, but his charismatic performances during the latest years and his virtuosity and passion that have drawn the attention of both the public and the press.

Razvan Stoica has been awarded over 35 international prizes in various international competitions, but only “Strad Prize” Competition, held in Salzburg Austria, has brought him the incontestable and well deserved honor of owning and playing an Antonio Stradivari violin, crafted in 1729 and played by Paganini himself. “The Queen”, as this is the name of the violin Razvan is playing, for seven years now; it’s not the only violin the artist owns and plays.

As Razvan Stoica will be starring the “Strad Style” film, which is to be launched all over the world in the near future, he has been given another beautiful violin, crafted by an amazing, American, violin maker, Daniel Houck. The violin is an exquisite copy of Guarnieri Del Gesu, “Il Canone” (1723) and suits Razvan Stoica’s special and overwhelming technique and sound.

Razvan Stoica’s ambition, talent, amazing technique and dedication brought him up, to the top, among the world’s wide known violinists.

He was awarded, in 2014, the Romanian Cultural Excellency Award and he has been guest soloist of well-known orchestras.

Other international competitions that brought Razvan Stoica the first prize are: the Perosi Competition (Tortona), the Olympic violin competitions (Romania), the Bolzano Duo Competition (Italy) and the list may continue.

Razvan has performed, both as a guest soloist and also in recitals as „Duo Stoica”, in Amsterdam “Royal Concertgebouw”, Paris “Thetatre des Champs Elysees”, Brescia Teatro San Barnaba, Genova Teatro Carlo Felice, Palacio de Festivales (Santander).

In 1996 he joined his sister, the pianist Andreea Stoica, forming the successful “Duo Stoica”. As a recording artist, Razvan, is continuing to build a distinguished catalog of recordings including: his critically acclaimed recording of the 24 Caprices by Niccolo Paganini and the “Symphonie espagnole” for violin and orchestra Op. 21 from Edouard Lalo with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra Krakow.

Having mastered his instrument at a young age, Razvan, has been admitted to the Enesco Conservatory in Bucharest at Maestro Modest Iftinchi class. After graduating, Razvan has continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory in Amsterdam, studying under Ilya Grubert.

 In 2012, Razvan signed with the Dutch based record label Aliud records. The first release under this contract, “Capriccioso”, has been a succesful release in September 2012, being sold worldwide.

In 2010, together with his sister, well known pianist, Andreea Stoica, Razvan Stoica has formed the “Het Kamerata Stradivarius” Orchestra. As the artistic director and conductor of “Het Kamerata Stradivarius” Orchestra, Razvan Stoica has brought his orchestra up to the highest standards of classical music, attending many invitations to play on worldwide known stages such as: Amsterdam “Royal Concertgebouw”, Teatro Perez Galdos’, Gran Canaria, Spain, De Doelen, Rotterdam and many other stages. Their debut disc “A Journey into classical” under Universal Music Label has been a real success being sold out within the first weeks.

The suave delightful tone, the heavenly sound and the charismatic performance of the young violinist made the prestigious critics stand up for his presence in concerts and acclaim him to be: the greatest violinist of his generation!
